Benington After School Club

Book Club (Every Wednesday lunchtime) books books

We thought it would be good to run a book club and so far we have seven other children involved. We have just read "You tell me" by Michael Rosen and we are now going to start reading "The Parent Agency" by David Baddiel. We have started 'star of the week' because it gets them more determined to read the book, but also making them read it to the best of their abilities. If anyone is interested, please feel free to talk to Amelie or Mr Preston.

Signed....Amelie & Mr Preston

Walking Bus

We try and run the walking bus when the weather is fine, but we have no-one to run it at present. Please contact the school if you can help.

It sets off from the recreation ground every morning at 8.30am. The children walk across the fields and enter the school across the playing field. When the ground is muddy, they use the footpaths through the village.
